Family Law
The family law service provides advice and minor assistance on issues related to the breakdown of family relationships, particularly in relation to children and property.
Child Support
The specialist Child Support solicitors provide legal advice and assistance to carer parents and in some circumstances to liable parents on limited income. We can also assist carer  grandparents who require financial support.
Domestic Violence Legal Service
We offer legal advice and court representation to victims of family and domestic violence.   Assistance may include making a Violence Restraining Order (VRO) application or representing clients in court.
Financial Counselling
A free, confidential service for residents living within the City of Gosnells.  Financial Counsellors work with families and individuals experiencing financial hardship. The service offers, independent information, options and advocacy.
Tenancy
Information and advice for people living in rental accommodation. Problems with discrimination when seeking housing, advice when signing up to a lease, dealing with issues of rent and bond, ending tenancies and bond disputes.
Mediation
Assisting people to resolve their disputes with the help of mediators.   The service is provided for Family Law matters involving children and for neighbourhood disputes.
Community Legal Education
Provision of talks, workshops, seminars, publications and pamphlets, public forums and training to the community on a variety of legal issues.  Project activities also include law reform work and research tasks.
Outreach Services
Assistance is provided at our Armadale Outreach Service located in Armadale.  Currently Family Law Property Legal Service and Tenancy Education and Advocacy Services are available each week.  A Family Law Advice clinic is provided at Midland Family Relationship Centre by appointment.
Evening/Volunteer Legal Service
After hours appointments are available to assist low income people who are not in a position to engage a private solicitor. Private solicitors volunteer their time, on a roster basis, and assist with general law and family law issues.
